The network has been rock solid for me except for two small hiccups, one due to a Vuma issue and one due to a faulty Optical Connector on their side. Overall the only complaint I have is their support staff, they are slow, and not always dialed into what you need and ticket responses can take quite some time unless you come to the forums to chat to PBCool and TheRoDent. The key thing for me for any network is line speed, latency and uptime and out of those three they are excellent. I always get over line speed (212Mbps or more up and down) and latency to every online game I play is excellent. Overall I am quite happy with them. They just need to fix the support speed.
 
For almost 3years I had a flawless fibre line with coolideas. They are my first choice when recommending isp's
 
Good.

Streaming is great. Handles the large no of people in our household (5) well.

Browsing however is slower than it was on ADSL (CrystalWeb) and MTN mobile by quite a bit. Not sure why a line that can download 100Mb loses to one that does about 14Mb in this.
 
Netwrok quality and uptime on Openserve is great. Support tickets only get the required attention after following up on MyBB. not sure how the "not so tech savvy" person gets along.
 
I have been happy with Cool Ideas for the most part. There have been a number of outages (normally on Friday nights) in the past six months which have been very frustrating. They are also not good at getting back to you no matter what channel you use to contact them.

That said, the product normally works as expected, network quality is great and their prices are not bad.
 
I rated them excellent. I get consist excellent service, they even phoned me and followed up when the network was down with accurate if not the fastest restore times.
 
I've rated excellent.
I am lucky to have excellent speed and constant network quality.
Only had a problem once and the staff who worked on my issue were knowledgeable and solved the problem while I was on the phone.
That was over a year ago. I've not had to contact them ever again and that's good service. I am getting a product that works, there is little to no need for me to even be in contact with support.

Support: Forum support from pbcool & therodent is great. Ticket support is terrible.
Speed & reliability: Not had a single minute of down since joining a year ago. Did have an international issue which took some time to solve. More a frogfoot issue then ci.
 
Till date there was no issues, feedback and response is almost immediate .... I am a happy chappie
 
Was excited to sign up with them on a 10mb line coming from 4mb adsl, however really disappointed with buffering on my Netflix, which didn't happen to such extent on a 4mb line, so far it feels like speedtest is the only website running at full speed. Not happy.

No reason for buffering on Netflix, is your device cabled in?
