copa I'm not following you here. Yes it has its flaws but its 100% better than it was when we did not have a TLK rep at all. Removing him is not a solution here imo...quite the opposite.
A better solution in my eyes is getting rpm to follow up on it...how did this go from Telkom rep/twitter having a reputation for responding instantly to the last response right now (per twitter) being 6 days old and everything subsequently being ads.
My one & only interaction with TelkomZA(Charl) was Grade A+ so I'm somewhat suspicious of calls to scrap it outright...

ah my bad...didn't read all 7 pages tbh.I was angry at the time, and my subsequent posts in the thread should make my opinion clear. Charl and his team only have the highest praise from me...
You'd be surprised.
There still are. Many. Not for long though...
all i can say is that its TRAGIC for our country.
It was a state owned entity then, it is a (mostly) state owned entity now. We need less monopolies and more competition!
Currently Telkom has sufficient cash flow to buy the whole of Greece.the first step would be to de-regulate the telecoms industry, and by that i dont mean marginally.
For example in Greece where i lived for 20 years, they deregulated the industry, companies sprung up (some dodgy ones too) they laid thier fibre, laid their copper, built DSLAM's and today, 5 years later you can get a uncapped 24mbps link for under 20 Euros.
But that is a topic of discussion for another thread.

Eden Glen seem to have pretty good technicians. Had 3 issues with line in last 5 years, all sorted first time within 48 hours from logging fault. Maybe just lucky.
I think you guys being a bit hard on Him/Them that man the TelkomZA account.
I grind them as well from time to time, but I have always gotten a reply, even if it takes 4 days. What is a nice added bonus, is that Wesley phones me personally to follow up on PM's as he has my cell no from a query a 6-8 months ago.
I even have to remind myself sometimes that these okes don't always have all the answers and also have to contact other people to assist them in answering accurately, as well as manage the several other responsiblities they have beside provide support via this forum.
Food for thought![]()
