Plugg Uncapped ADSL Feedback

Has anyone else been experiencing slow international speeds?

I had similar issues that same day (16 apr), but it was fine again as of the next day.

Overall, I have been pretty happy with Plugg so far. Very glad I switched from mweb.
 
The mark of satisfied client base - a quiet MyBB thread.

Very happy with my move to Plugg (4meg)

- sometimes get lag on D3 but nothing unmanageable
- don't always get 'fullbore' download speed but that's okay - not critical
- YouTube runs like a dream (even on HD) = happy family

and the best

- second login on uncapped line - what a win - all ISP's should offer this facility
 
Is it recommended to use 20?

I use 5 on IS (1MB Line).

Also, I asked for a trial account yesterday and have yet to receive one. Not a good start :(

I agree with your no. of NNTP connections comment, I use 10 on a 4mb line, which maxes out. I guess they mean "up to 20 connections".

I have heard that the trial accounts get recycled so they are not a true reflection of what performance one can expect. Rather, buy a 1gb capped account to test with as they perform the same from my experience when the uncapped is still on 5 stars.

None of the trial accounts that I create are 'recycled'. They are all newly created accounts with zero previous usage. I have spoken to the support manager to make sure support do not keep using the same accounts over and over since it is not a true reflection.

Thanks for clearing that up, I wasn't speaking from personal experience, just what I have read around the forums.

I am a happy 4mb uncapped PluGG customer since Nov, just I would like a way to check my star rating.
 
If I wanted to try a trail account who do i get in contact with?
And do you have any AUP on bandwidth? eg, 200GB/Month?

Yup , pluggs website/client zone is far behind the other isps , it would be nice to have some more features. Other than that the service has been excellent as per usual :)

Being throttled without being told is less than ideal...

Transparency goes a long way :)

That is not the test account I created for you earlier this month. Not sure where you got hold of that account but the one I created for you, you only used for two days and then disconnected.

Could you PM me who gave you that account so I can follow-up.
