Anybody else having problems with international browsing. Local works fine, nzbs are ok if I test something now.
Accessing mybb loads within 2 seconds, bbc.co.uk and cnn.com takes ages to load with a couple of failed attempts in between.

Anyone else's account on a slow-go today?

Browsing is excruciatingly slow. Like, the YouTube page doesn't even load. Torrents and NZBs are running at 0KB/s. The latency bar in mIRC is at like 20k ping.

I swapped over to my Afrihost free account and I get line speed on the torrent, as well as being able to stream 720p on YouTube. The weird thing is that my trace route is perfect (see below)

There was a glitch earlier on the network, but I believe that it is sorted out now.

Can you have a look and let me know if you still having slow browsing/streaming.

Howdy,

Just a quick heads-up for later today that might affect our ADSL service.

Telkom SA will be performing an emergency change in order to resolve an identified problem on one of their Rosebank Martis nodes between 16:30 and 18:30 today. They expect the actual maintenance to be only 30 minutes during the allotted time period.

Traffic will be rerouted but you might experience some increased latency during this emergency change window.

DSL has been sluggish the whole day. Don't know if it's connected with the maintenance or not. Other account is fine.
