Driving average about 40km/h so it can probably work sometimes

it will work most of the time.
add to that you are stopping at robots along the way, that does reset the speed after a few seconds (I think its about 10 seconds)

you can still play in traffic with ease

Ok, so still no pokemon go for me then, don't have enough time going to stops. Driving to work with one of my colleagues, was always my way of getting enough poké balls

Im using the Pogo plus and I can get pokestops while driving... and catch.

But mostly 5s and nothing interesting.

11 is not enough.
During double xp event math says evolve 16 minutes with an egg ( roughly 30 pokemon) or its not financially viable to use the egg

Since this morning I caught a Charmander and 3 Bulbasaurs. It might be a sign that they have shaken up things and making the Indigo starter Pokemon more available. Though funny enough, today my mission has been to hunt for Zubats

I have caught a single zubat and spun one pokestop.

I want to actually stock up on balls for this event.
