Wondering if Southern Africa is going to get a region exclusive with possible gen 2 which is rumored to be released tomorrow.

If gen 2 is getting released I hope the Poke bag size gets increased as well.

I am 100% wiht you there.

the alternative is seperate storage for each gen, or simply allowing us to buy more space then we can atm.

I know its all Rumours. but the original leak had a few other things on it as well and Starbucks have made good on all of those promises.

add to that, Sprint confirmed this morning(our time) they have a big pokemon go related announcement to make tomorrow.

my pessimistic guess is sponsored pokestops for both sprint and Starbucks, and no gen 2 just yet (because we would have seen an app update pushed out (in theory to update moves)

Still nothing on apk mirror. Any other reliable download link?

The mass transfer will make life a tad easier at least.

http://pokemongo.tv/data-mining-genders-coming/

- Gen 2 Pokémon confirmed
- Gender Pokémon added to code
- A new event for the holiday is added to the code

On top of that Niantic said they will be making the announcement of new Pokémon on 12/12. Right now I'm going to try and farm as much candy/star dust for whatever the Christmas event will be .

This Pokemon Go update indeed has decent features. Pokemon trainers will be able to transfer multiple Pokemon at a time to Professor Willow, We were waiting for this feature since the beginning! All you gotta do is, press and hold on a Pokemon and it’ll be select!

The second feature is pretty good as well, all Pokemon type icons are added to Gym Battle approach and on Gym Battle Screen, so it’ll be a lot easier for you to select a better type Pokemon versus Gym Pokemon.

Total Candy Count for your buddy Pokemon has been added to the buddy Pokemon information screen, so you can see how many candies you earned with your Buddy Pokemon, this is nothing big, but I guess it’s a decent feature as well!

We were actually asking for this feature from Niantic, Total Kilometers your Buddy has walked has been added to the information screen as well for each and every single Pokemon that has ever been your Buddy.

Here is Niantic’s full message about the update with features and patch notes.

” Pokémon GO updated to version 0.49.1 for Android and 1.19.1 for iOS Trainers,

Pokémon GO is in the process of being updated to version 0.49.1 for Android and 1.19.1 for iOS devices. Below are some release notes and comments from our development team.

Trainers will be able to transfer multiple Pokémon at a time to Professor Willow. To use this function, press and hold on a Pokémon.

Pokémon type icons have been added to the Gym battle approach and Gym battle screen.

The total Candy count for your Buddy Pokémon has been added to the buddy information screen.

The total kilometers a buddy has walked has been added to the information screen of each Pokémon that has ever been your buddy.

Minor text fixes.

Is it stil not possible to spin PokéStops at driving speeds? Together with the removal of Pokémon spawns while driving.

This is still a deal breaker for me as I am in a rural area and getting enough poké balls is a huge hassle.

I agree.

what I ended up doing is increasing bag storage to 600.
then I go somewhere with lots of pokestops, stock up like a boss for a few hours

I think if you keep the speed down...>40km/h it still works

Ok, so still no pokemon go for me then, don't have enough time going to stops. Driving to work with one of my colleagues, was always my way of getting enough poké balls

That's OK then. What about pókes showing on radar, also 40km/h?

yeah around there.
and pokemon showing on the nearby is the thing that shows if you can spin a stop or not.

but honestly, we can easily spin stops on the way to work in the morning, little bit of traffic and boom.

the speed limit made it harder, but not impossible.

simply hitting stops while driving was not enough to keep you going. you need to spend the time at least once a week to properly stock up on items. not just balls, but potions and revives too.

and honestly if that really does kill the game for you, then that is a pity. becasuse GPS drift has caused me to get a speed lock while I was standing 100% still.

Many times in bed I've received the "Are you a passenger?" message. How personal!?
