Ps how can you use a 6 hour lure and catch only 4 Farfetch? I made a trip to the local pnp, which is at most a 15/20 min trip and i caught 3 50m from my place and another 2 up the road and 4 at the shop itself.

I'm not near a lure today or since the farfetch'd was released, i caught mine on the way to work (and i'm up to 9 now :D )
i was asking about the lures because i havent seen a single lure today, they were up all over the place on friday and today nada :(

I think it depends on your level and the state of your Pokedex.
At higher levels you would want more dust to build your strong raid teams. Lower level players are still chasing pokemon to complete their pokedex.

Something inside the world of Pokémon is terribly broken. I'm sitting in Centurion basically a block away from the gautrain station, but my app still thinks I'm at work in Brooklyn...

You just proved you're a workaholic :D . But you're right though i noticed something of similar effect since about August's-ish update, it seems that if it cannot find gps/inet single it transports you to the last place you were stationary for a set amount of time. It has happened to me a few times since then....mostly in gps-less barren desert that is our office parking :cry:
 
This event has been awesome.

I've just about powered through level 33.

And I caught my first shiny Magikarp today :D
 
Probably a good week for me as well. Caught 3 billion pokemon....ok i helped... a little.

Caught a regional i thought i might never catch and Caught the second most powerful pokemon (cp wise) currently in the game.

Caught a Tyranitar!!! In the Wild!!??!??!?
If it is in the wild, i'm very envious, still waiting for my turn for that. So CP wise that would be HO-OH, until they release slaking/rayquaza, but not meta game wise.

Yep, in the wild!
Ok-ish iv's, nothing to write home about. But at least it's one more in the 'dex.

That's pretty awesome, i'm aware of only 2 that have spawned anywhere near us. 1 was at an inaccessible pokestop, and the other was during a storm and I already have several so wasn't going to rush for a maybe.
Very lucky to find and catch one

Thanks. I missed out on a Dragonite earlier in the week. Like, maybe a 100m down the street at a Pokestop. I'd trade the Tyranitar for that any day of the week :(
