Apparently they stopped supplying it with the unit and stated to supply it with their expensive foldable solar panels.

Looks like he bought the one in the classifieds section. They used to come with cables but now you get the cables with their overpriced solar panels.
 
So we had load shedding at the early hours of the morning and it stayed off longer than scheduled, my River Pro must have drained completely and shut off but when the power came back on the AC outputs were disabled so everything connected to it stayed off.

This is slightly annoying, although I don't ever intend to run it competely flat if I can help it but would be nice if this didn't happen.

Do not keep it charged at 100%. This causes the cycles on the battery to degrade faster. So does running it to 0%. Most things I have read say keep LI batteries between 20% and 80% charge.

Otherwise it's pretty straight-forward.

I have the Delta and I treat it as a battery ONLY for load shedding. That means when I'm not using it it's off and unplugged. I then plug it in to my PC just before load shedding. It's a bit of a pain in the butt but it avoids situations like this.

That wouldn't work for what I'm using mine for. It has UPS functionality so I'll use it.

Once I get my whole home solar set up early next year hopefully I won't really need it for much besides travelling.

Mine has a basic UPS switchover function (30ms so not good enough for PCs) but if you're getting solar and don't need to worry about the lifespan of the device then fair enough.

I have a proper UPS connected to the equipment and then that's connected to the River Pro.

This is definitely a temporary solution, needed something that would be useful once I had solar installed - at least these you can take with you and use anywhere.

The 296Wh Gizzu is hooked up and doing it's first duty shift. The automatic transfer switch did its job as designed. It's extremely basic compared to the Ecoflow but for the money I guess I can't complain if it works.

Have a watt meter connected to the output side, reading about 42W with the current load (so I guess around 50W if you consider efficiency) - technically should run then for about 6 hours, but I'll be happy with 4.

Yeah in parallel, River Pro maxes around 110w also have a Delta Max that maxes around 210w off those 2 panels but looking to get 2 x 400w panels for it at some stage.
