As long as it lasts a year I will hopefully install an inverter next year I just need it to last a year

Working from home? Or is this just back up for the evenings? If just back up for evenings... then should get you through the year :)

Eish. A bit of a waste. Buy something that is not exactly cheap (R2k) only for it to last a year and then you have to fork out for a proper one next year.

I know it's 4x the price but this will be FAAAAAAAAAR more useful and last longer.

If you don't have the cash outright even the credit option seems like a better deal than throwing away R2000 on that tiny Gizzu.

It will probably be fine for a monitor. What make and model monitor? Does your monitor have a DC input and if so, perhaps post a picture of the back of the power adapter where it shows the output voltage.
 
They are not worth the price. They really can't do what they promise. Yes it can give power, yes it is for a good 2 hours to 3 hours depending on your load. It is at best a "help me out" situation and not a long term solution. After owning one for a while now I wouldn't spend the money.

They look nice, big promises on the side but in the end they can't deliver the day to day power we need.

Is that on the power brick? that will probably be the max that the power brick can output. Your monitor probably wont use the full 25W. If you work on 25W that is 100Wh to run it for 4 hours so anyting with 150Wh and over should be fine. So the Gizzu should work but the Anker will be better.

I used the Power Station last night for 4 hours and I still had 6 hours left after the load shedding I was very surprised how much more time I had

Your monitor probably uses way less than the 25W that the power adapter can supply.
