POS Point if Sale solution wanted

Hi all,

I'm about to open a new shop for organic food in Cape Town and I need a really good POS system.

It should have
- a proper back office for purchasing / stock control / shipping / receiving /
- excellent till software
- can connect scales
- if possible also control our in house bakery and a small coffee shop
- an internet shop ( we want to offer "shop offline and old fashioned", "shop online and get delivered" and also "online shopping and collection / drive through )
- handle multiple currencies
- handle purchasing in packing units and sell in units and vice versa.
- handle multiple warehouses and shops

and the whole thing shouldn't cost too much. ( I don't have R 100,000 for software available ! )

Anyone with suggestions for me?

The online shop and multiple warehouse/shop control will be your largest cost contributors. If you going to have multiple shops, do the shops each have their own inventory control or do they all fetch that information from a central location? Will you be hosting your own web server to facilitate the online shopping or will it be done by someone else?

I need at the moment separate stock control only for the shop and the warehouses ( cold storage and normal dry goods storage )
but I need to see whether the shrinkage happens in the shop or if it disappears already in the warehouse.
But the system must be open for more shops with its own stock control. This can be either with its own server or through a data link to a main server for everything.

We have already a web server and I want to host the website there, but I am flexible on this issue.
