Saw a something similar on a different site and I thought it might be interesting to see.

Two things stand out for me when I look back at my list. How much I miss 3Dfx and how badly I wish AMD would stop sucking. :wtf:

GPU... will add when I have given the noggin some rest... but these include the usual SIS / Virge / Trio and Diamond Monster 3D 3dfx Voodoo1 + Riva TNT + ATI's through a Canopus DVRaptor-RT and Matrox Millennium G200 PCI + Matrox Parhelia PCI and ending with laptop Nvidia Quadro NVS 320.

Man... I remember my early S3 Trio 64 cards... and the excitement when the 512kb RAM "upgrades" became available. Pure Joy... and the dismay at the cost of the Matrox Millennium 8MB upgrade at the time... utter * meh.

The oooold days. * sigh *

I haven't really owned any PC's prior to the my AMD 2600+, except for perhaps a Pentium 3 PC. All the older stuff was my dad's that I've always played/programmed on.
As for the graphics cards: I've bought all the cards from the TNT2 M64 onwards, most of which was 2nd-hand.

My dad had lots of expensive first generation PC's... like those where you were able to install a Math Co-processor, etc.
