You know, the thing about the advance of technology is that everything is relative to you have seen before.

I remember the day I got my PC with the Athlon 700 and the GeForce 256, and loading up Quake 3 on it. I was just amazed, blown away, by how good it looked and how well it ran. It was incredible.

Then, I remember seeing screenshots of Half Life 1 and thinking it looked unbelievably realistic. I was floored. Isnt it amazing to think, if you go back to HL1 now, it looks like dog poo compared to Crysis? Yes of course I would rather play HL1.
