Then coming to a conclusion based on the results of the tests, and publishing those results so other scientists can also do their own tests and verify the theory.

Worst part is trying to argue with a fan about it, they try to convince you how much better they feel when they wear it. I even had someone tell me that she bought another one cause hers does not work so well for her, but it work really well for someone else. So she got another one for herself, and that one works wonders.

I suspect despite the evidence this is a scam, some people will not take them off because then are are acknowledging they are idiots and fell for a scam. By holding out they kinda saying, it works for me, so i dont care what the research says.

Others actually really do believe it works.

So in terms of the company offering refunds - not many people running back for thier money.

Ive had people come and tell me what they were and how they work. I just laughed at them, I mean without actually trying to think too deeply into it, surely if you just question how it works you will realise that its an impossibility and its there to play on your mind like a placebo. Damn people these days are getting worse and worse when it comes to logic. They should really introduce a common sense and logical thinking course to schools.

Would be nice to just shrug it off and use the word "gullible idiot" whenever I see someone with these. The problem is my hatred of the asinine stupidity from people who wears this crap is so bad that it's actually affecting my professional life. Started working on a new project and the head IT dude was cool, until I saw that horrible piece of plastic on the tosser's hand, I have a hard time trying to respect him now. And these things are EVERYWHERE. Family, colleagues, you name it. I swear to god if one of my friends fell for this we wouldn't be friends anymore, harsh, I know, but surely falling for something so ridiculous shows some kind of fundamental flaw in a person's personality and world view, a flaw in people which I simply cannot stomach anymore and would rather shy away from.

If Power Balance has accomplished anything, it was opening my eyes as to what a farce the concept of "the era of enlightenment" truly is.
For the most part we are indeed just a bunch op stupid apes and the incremental technological and social progress we make does little to hide the giant pile of stupidity just beneath the average person's surface.

Even worse is the fact that this story is being posted everywhere, Facebook, news sites etc. I mean REALLY?!?! The fact that this is news actually depresses the **** out of me. /NoHope
