power cable for iBook G4

...this is pretty much the icing on the cake

I tripped over the wire, and ripped the whole inside of the power cord. Tried to straighten the middle pin, very carefully but it still broke..

Now I sit with a webcam I cant use, and a iBook with 30% battery life.

I called iStore and they wanna charge me +- R1400.

Im at a loss for words...

Good luck. Seems like the brick for my MacBook pro died today and that's going to cost over r1600 .

I'm limping along for now with the smaller one the missus uses for her macbook.

Wait till the battery itself dies... got a quote of R2600 for an iBook battery
