Well, over 20GW is permanently offline. This number will just increase.

I'm really worried too, but they've kept it going somehow. I think they at least know if they don't it's digging their own grave.

There's that magic 2 GW(?) they recovered a couple of months ago, or however that is supposed to work - never did get much of an explanation.

Not that it seems to have helped much..

Gen is down to 16.5GW from winter peak of 22GW.

Those working units won't be working for long if they're not taken offline for maintenance. The real question is: why aren't they fixing the permanently offline 20GW while they also do regular maintenance on the units that are currently working?

Main theory is their Leftist financiers don't want them too, pushing for Green "solutions". So they just do a bit to suit themselves.

And there's the failed-state-allows-socialism theory they may follow - sounds like science-fiction, but is it..

It`s just some cadres who are hungry. If a cadre wants to eat he must break something. That is how SA works. The cadres are gorging themselves with the status quo so why must they do more to really fix things?

The worst of them are like that. There's a few still keeping things going though, else we couldn't have lasted this long.

They hired someone to do that, he was tasked with bringing online 4000 of that 20000MW but that failed spectacularly
