I predict that this will be the new normal for kusile in other words, they will never get the sulphur flue thingy going again. Medupi has hope as they don't have the expensive flue thingy and all they have to fix is a conveyor belt.

Medupi and Kusile were designed by cadres. They were never meant to work as anything other than a loot pit.
Engineers: We need 10 xyz @ R100k each, that will allow for failure of one to be redirected and not affect others while repairs are done.
Cadres. I can give you 1 @ R10million.
Engineers: Thats not how it works.
Cadres: My hairdresser niece says otherwise. She will now be in charge of it.

Hidden activity / issues.
Nothing has changed, seems it never will while the ANC are in charge. Should have locked them all up after Guptagate

Why was Load Shedding Notifier removed from the play store? App also no longer works...

Mine still works, but indeed missing from the Play Store.

Would suck if it's permanent. I used that App primarily and only ESP if things didn't add up and I needed a second opinion.

After the constant city power changes esp was better

Mostly I just like the layout way more than ESP.

Also preferred the layout. You could easily see the inactive and active slots. Not just the active slots like ESP...
 
This morning we only had the first 28 minutes of our 04:00 to 05:00 Loadshedding - Block 14 Cape Town (ESKOM Direct).

Someone is most probably sleeping on the job, I have also missed a couple slots as well, even today power was supposed to go off at 12, still on a 10 minutes to the hour. Annoyingly though on those occasions when things go according to schedule power restoration has been delayed up to an hour on some occasions.
 
Well now it's just stage 3... No stage 4 at night, I mean guess small miracle, hopefully drops again soon, as my stage 3 is basically stage 4 from Friday.

Same here. Didn't get shedded today, happened a couple of other times as well. And then another time the power went off an hour late.

Actually annoying because we have to plan our days and then nothing happens.
