You're aware that there have been SoDs called before and after COVID right? Not all SoDs are like the one that was called for that, each one is different.

Yup, in fact just before the COVID SoD one was called for a drought in the EC, KZN has had an SoD called on it, JHB has as well, though we don't get the special treatment KZN gets as we still get load shedding.

We all know Nuclear is cheaper and better for base load, problem is we need a solution now not 20 years from now.
Sidenote: USA have Nuclear & Nat Gas for base loads.

Yup, same for here in Jozi... But as we can see it's just a disaster.
The only issue that makes any sense regarding the long term cause is sabotage. There is zero other acceptable reason that enough proper repairs couldn't be done, and there is zero difference that a SoD will make to that.All work from home, industries shutdown, they use more power then residents anyway
