If you as a man however, find yourself in a position where you are or can be raped, then maybe you need to start introspecting and change your behaviour, situation and friends. Hang around with whores, sluts and gold-diggers and what do you expect, decent behaviour?

The narrative sounds familiar, almost like:

- Women should not walk alone / at night as not to be raped
- Women should not wear revealing clothes as not to be raped
- Women should not drink at bars to avoid being raped

We're not talking about women lad, we're talking about men. As a man you have to be situationally aware. Crying after something like this happens does no good.

I'm with @PhreakBoy on this one - like when insurance companies pay out only 75% of a 3rd party claim when their client skips a stop street and t-bones another motorist.

Sure, in an ideal world, everyone can pay 100% attention to everything all the time, and then you can avoid bad things happening because all the warning signs are as plain as the nose on your face.

Except in the real world, it's not so easy. It's not a crime (or a sin) to make a mistake in your character judgement of someone else. If that person chooses to do something bad to you, it's not your fault.
