Lol compared to the PTA sea :p ....

Ya dude just move if you can. I was in CPT in 2006 and 2009 and each time I went It felt like I was in another country or some sheet. I would love and opportunity like that. I have no commitments either so it must be taken!

I've recently come to find that Cape Town is the least safe city in South Africa, could someone provide me with a list of areas to avoid in CT?:o

You are right - Cape Town has the highest murder rate in the country. The good news it is isolated to a few dangerous areas and is not as random as in Gauteng. So avoid the Cape Flats. And Salt River. Avoid the company gardens after sunset. Also avoid the N7 between the N1 and N2 due to current smash and grab problems. 99% of all crime in Cape Town is linked to drugs. So if somebody offers you drugs and the street then somebody else is probably busy stealing your car radio. There is a lot of opportunistic thefts by druggies, so don't leave stuff in your car and if you park it on the open street open your cubbyhole so that they can see it is empty and not smash your window.
