Hi all

I was wondering if anybody else has been experiencing problems in getting additional services provisioned on the ADSL telephone service.

I run a business from home, and my 4mb service is great (can't wait for 8mb though:D). I use the voice service to save mobile call charges where possible, and to give clients a landline number to call.

I recently applied at my local Telkom shop for CallBlock to prevent unauthorised(;)) calls, and CallForward so that client calls can be rerouted when I'm out. This should work fine with CallBlock, as that allows you to set up exempted numbers.

It seems Telkom have implemented a new provisioning system which is preventing the service advisor from loading these two services together. Even cancelling the CallBlock service and trying to load MultiCall Plus (which provides these 2 services in addition to a few others) no longer works. The service advisor admitted that the new sytem has been driving them nuts, but this was the first time they had encountered this particular problem. She called a few helpdesk people, to no avail. She had to log a "case" to try get this resolved.

My experience with Telkom to date has been fairly positive, and being in the IT business myself I'm fairly sure that some over-zealous developer set up a bad rule (or the User Acceptance Testing was incomplete).

Anybody else experienced this problem?
