I'm having a problem with forums on international sites.

If I go onto a forum all the topics that I haven't viewed would show up as unread, however, as soon as i click through to a a topic, all the threads show up as read.

This seems to have happened as soon as I moved over to telkom ADSL.

All local sites, like MyADSL forums are fine.

Any suggestions?

Syndyre, how was that for a synchronized post!??!

LOL :D

If you are behind a proxy this can happen Alchemist.

i have a different problem.i registerd to a forum.i got the activation link and i went in and logged in.everytime i get to the site now i have to log in.yes i have that 'remember me' block ticked.its so odd as il log in and then go into a thread and it will ask me to log in again.i cant post or comment at all cuz it keeps on saying im not logged in.pisses me off :(

I've cleared cookies and cache, and just about everything else that i can think of... My thought was that it could be a proxy issue too...

Any idea to get around the proxy?

Can't say I've had the say problem. And I've recently switched from iBurst to ADSL.

Jongi, which ISP are you using? I'm using Telkom Internet as my ISP, so it could just be a Telkom Internet issue

I am using WebAfrica. And FF as a browser on XP, Fedora and Kubuntu.

Set a proxy in your browser to dsl-cache.saix.net (IIRC), or cache.saix.net also should work. Port 8080.

At least then your connections will come from a single IP address and it won't stuff you around with constantly having to login.
