Problems loading data to newly connected sims

We load lots of data-bundles on behalf of our customers via the electronic recharge third party interface.

We've noticed something odd, when the first recharge to a newly connected sim is a data bundle, the recharge fails as the sim is still seen as "inactive", all retries result in same. This applies regardless of how long we wait post-connection to issue the recharge request.

As soon as airtime is loaded, data recharges go through fine.

Have tried to follow channels into Vod, but not getting anywhere.
V3G would appreciate your help here.

Specifics (sims and dates) on request.

Further to this, we suspect this only happens on low-value PPDBs (5mb and 20mb).

Ok, will give it another go, will connect sim now and leave it to mellow overnight. Will put recharge through in the morning.

Hi V3G, sorry but this still does not appear to be fixed.
