Yep, it is that one. I am not even willing to call it a ProNutro substitute since I don't know whether ProNutro as I knew it is even still ProNutro. The Woolworth Hi-Energy cereal is good, real good in my opinion. For those who want ProNutro, better than the classic, get the Original Hi-Energy.
32g of sugar per 100g serving.

I see why they call it "high-energy" 😅

Weet-Bix has those massive chunks of hard stuff that catch you unawares when you're chewing on it. Nutrific doesn't have that problem.

I've seen Nutrific around, but haven't yet tried it. I'll pick up a box next time I am at the shops.

Went through a phase of chocolate Pronutro mixed with Muesli. Was tasty and filling. Haven't tried the new variant recently and based on general perceptions on this thread, I am not missing out.

So I tried the new Pronutro today, banana flavoured version. Very much more lumpy than before, the texture is also like baby cereal now.

Will not buy again. Jungle instant oats it shall be 😁

I stopped eating Pronutro a while ago. Did FutureLife for a few years. Now I stick purely to Oats. Either the instant or the easy oats.

Synth banan is very strange. Not a banana in sight ))

Key changes and facts about the new ProNutro:
  • Reduced Sugar: The formula features reduced sugar per serving compared to the previous, according to News24.
  • Texture/Taste: It has a different, "bitty/crunchy" texture, described by some fans as "lumpy" and having a different mouth feel, according to consumer feedback on Reddit.
  • Production Changes: The move was prompted by an effort to improve manufacturing, reduce carbon emissions, packaging, and water usage, noted EWN.
  • Permanent Change: The company has indicated this is not a temporary change and the formula is here to stay, says EWN.
  • Discontinued Product: The Whole Wheat variant was dropped due to low demand.

All of this is basically corporate speak for making something in the cheapest way possible.
