The simple fact is that if one correctly uses Google to search for info on this site/forum, one will not be disappointed...

I agree. Is it not possible to 'hide' the vbulletin search buttons and tabs? One can waste valuable time trying to use them.

What about interlinking forums?

maybe have a section called supported forums, Where by technical help on pc stuff etc can be linked to a forum that has already got that setup etc. The point of doing something like that is to help other forums out and end up working like a community together with diff forums to compliment each other.

This ends up giving the mods and admins more time to focus on things of importance instead of running after postings in other sections that myadsl isnt used to.

Just a thought.

Just something i encountered a few times being a Vodacom AND MTN user. There is alot of threads and discussion applicable to Voda+MTN+Cell C which end up
in a random section [in one of the 3] and gets missed easily if you only use 1 "service provider". Simple example : 3G Cellphones..i see Nokia 6680 discussions flow all over the place because there doesn't seem to be quite a right place to put it [i.e. you are a MTN user but everyone with 6680 phones are in the Vodacom section]...

I agree with diabolus here, but want to clarify it a bit.
I notice that for the Nokia 6680 there are threads in the MTN section that have nothing to do with MTN (or Vodacom for that matter). They would all have been better off in Vodacom Nokia 6680 thread.

The forum would have been much more helpful with a separate wireless hardware section like this:

Other Broadband and Wireless Providers
--Sentech MyWireless
--WBS iBurst
--Vodacom (Vodacom specific, no general phone stuff)
--MTN (MTN specific, no general phone stuff)
--CellC (CellC specific, no general phone stuff)
--WiFi Hotspots & Wisps (other small providers e.g. Gogga)
--Wireless Hardware (Phone's and stuff not related to a specific provider )

General WiFi networking should be shoved to the hardware section however.
