As long as Domingo is coach, it doesn't matter whose in the side.Its still a f... up!!

Started happening a long time ago.
 
Domingo has been out of his depth from day one and that with some of the best players in the world. With a quota to contend with he is now on a hiding to nothing, as would any incoming coach be.

Think it's safe to say SA cricket can look forward to 2nd tier status from here on in.

Bangladesh, Zim, WI, Ireland, Scotland, Netherlands.... and SA... :cry:
 
Let them take their sport, employment, and the country , everything else in it and shove it. Can see all the top talent are already leaving for overseas. The only ones still here can't get out because of age, qualifications etc.

I wish it was as easy as just leaving SA. They always say if we don't like their policies or way of doing things, then we can leave. If it was this simple and I could just pack up and leave, i would have done so in a heart beat. I'm sick and tired of this country and its endless BS, corruption, incompetence and mismanagement.
 
Coaches should start deferring to political logic. Send all their players for pencil tests and genetic tests to redefine their races.

Exactly. Any type of discrimination is subject to these problems. Find some Khoi genes in AB de Villiers and you've instantly got a new quota player.
 
Just realized today that the government is not interested in diversity. If they were, then they would be aggressively pushing diversity in football. They're not.

The want to take everything from whites. From the economy to sport and everything in between.

100% correct. They cannot stand to see whites flourish or excel at anything. I think it stems from an inferiority complex tbh.
 
If you have to have racial quotas (a policy which is itself deeply flawed), then they should rather base the proportion on the number of active fans in each race group, not the strict demographics of the country. That way, at least you will be reflecting reality. If there are 1 million active black rugby fans and 3 million white, then make the quota 75% white. Likewise for soccer, etc (in fact any field, even non sports). What the quota policy is effectively saying is that if only 10% of a population group has any interest in a particular field, their full proportion must be represented regardless of the fact that the other 90% could care less.

The same principle could apply to anything - e.g. if out of all the students who have realistic aspirations to be an accountant, only 5% is from one group, why try to force round pegs into square holes and insist that their group must be 90% represented in the accounting profession merely because that is their overall demographic proportion? Pretty much everything that is going wrong is due to that kind of illogical thinking. It doesn't make sense and it means that it is impossible to fulfill the quota without cutting corners and denying those who have earned the opportunity a place. You might be concerned that only 5% of that group has the capability and interest in that field, but then that means you need to raise the interest and capability from the bottom up with better education/training, and not try to kludge the disparity at the end of the process by imposing rules that do not overlap with reality.

Mainly because the government has reached the national demographic quota, or equilibrium, with the sport. They do not need to wave additional policies...
 
I feel sorry for the coaches and selection panels. Either they make the government angry or they get less people in stadiums boycotting matches.

It is way too hard to determine the supporter base by colour, the black population is largely poor. Do you go by TV viewership or event attendance, both which has a pricey price tag?

There are more black rugby players in SA than there are white rugby players, there are more ‘black’ and ‘coloured’ rugby clubs in SA than there are ‘white’ rugby clubs. Though Union club rugby is mixed, the blacks and the coloureds do contribute to the larger supporter’s base, this also apply to the respective unions.

It is only that many people do not have access to the international games, other than listening in on the radio.
