He's played for the A sides alongside the so-called more deserving players and outperformed them by some distance ... something Thami himself has often done. Both are injured.
Really don't see what Bavuma has done to deserve a call. First class average of 35 is pretty poor...
I couldn't agree more. begs the question why modern day sides don't play at least two 4-day tour matches, one of them a full FC competitive match near the venuew of the 1st Test match.Beautiful bowling conditions let down by some average bowling.
Lots of edges, streaky shots, and fortunate runs in that "nice" batting ...Our guys playing nicely at a 5.5RR
Is anybody watching via SS streaming? Quality is not great and audio fades in and out every 10 minutes.
Not sure if it is SS or ISP related.

The Windies have struck. I said earlier the only adjustment they needed to make was discipline. To be fair Alviro&Elgar looked rather rusty even though the runs were flowing. I don't understand why home teams never have competitive practice games ahead of a series.True, but when you consider the conditions they up against its been pretty good![]()

First half of the preditions complete, now over to Morkel&Abbott when the Windies come in to bat!Great start by Alviro. Windies tear-away quicks should just be disciplined and aggressive. Proteas top 3 there for the taking.
Abbott has been pathetic at international level ... should not be there particularly with Morkel ailing.
His runs column is seldom the major concern. The fact that he only occupied the crease for just 8 deliveries should be the primary concern.Faf 0
