Just simply save you the use of using your PS2 laser ;) If you have and ADSL router you can & 2 ethernet cables (plus a modded ps2 slim of course) you can play PS2 games directly off your PC HDD! :D

Seriously helps when you don't have spare DVD discs and you've had your ps2 for a while :)
 
woooh! hoo! give this man a medal. ok i have a question. when i got this setup i also got about 20 or 30 games ans the majority dont play because of scratches it seems and it's very disappointing although my daughter are having more fun on the perfect discs that Madman88 sent down. what can be done about the ones with the scratches?

Have you tried a video shop disk cleaning service?
 
we don't have any videos shops here since the people across the borders moved in.

Downloaded DVD Decrypter & Alcohol 120% (11.9mb in 2 rar parts) here:

Try using DVD Decrypter first to back the game in an ISO file and if it works simply use DVD Decrypter to burn the ISO file to a disk.

If that doesn't work try using Alcohol 120%. Make an image file with everything ticked except Data precise measurement ticked (works well if there aren't any errors on the disc). Once the image file has been made burn it the DVD disc.

Just remeber to burn it at 4x speed at the very least. :)
 
huh??? it did say something about unlocking something and i must do something. is it the same game just harder?
 
It's a difficulty setting :p It goes easy < medium < hard < titan

It was hell but worth it knowing I completed it :D
 
jeez bud i had trouble with the easy mode, my 13 yr old daughter had to save me plenty times can you imagine how i would fair in TITAN mode?
 
i reckon there were plenty of things we never got but hell it was an awesome game.
 
ok tried to play The Sims but could not even build a wall but my daughter is here from USA and has brought her Wii with her and i guess in the next few days we are gonna give it a test run.
 
Interesting thread. Didnt know the ps2 had so many hidden features.
Gonna dust off my ps2 and try some of these.
