You're not in SA are you? I do the same nowadays but back in SA I never used rest mode, not with the crazy power issues
problem is that there is/was quite a dump on the 2nd market when PS5 Pro came out, and people where also selling Slim's, which also seemed to be preferred over launch models
I’m still looking for a game to play whilst I have a lot of time until I start my new role.
I looked at the first version of this game. It just looks like a postman delivery game?

Wife completed that game. Really cool game!
Mine too,, but I have had a PS5 die, and I continue to use standby. The board itself, not the PSU. No idea the cause however.
I always “forget” because it’s the first option, and then it’s too late

The issue is that you don't want to be losing power when it's in standby as it can possibly corrupt things. The PS gets really angry at you when you don't shutdown properly, and who knows what effects it has if this happens a lot.
I have battery backup so I'm not that concerned about losing power.
Oh okay. Loosing power isn’t really a thing in England. Good to know though.

I loved Death Stranding.
Yes you deliver things but there's so much more to the game. Really looking forward to the sequel.
Only Eskom powers it off for you then.

This exactly. I only bought the game two years after release. Sure its slow paced but after completing the game that was kinda an emotional trip. My rating, 9/10.
