PS5

Will download fifa just for when my casual buddies come around the house, otherwise I'm not into fifa. I doubt I will have the time to play the other two- the backlog is serious..

Saw this video about an hour ago and I must say it's pretty cool to see how much headroom there is before the fps gets locked.

Great game, played em on <GamePass>

Most people vote Dead Cells > Hades > CoTDG
Personally I go Hades > CoTDG > Dead Cells

Either way if you like the one then the other 2 is also well worth playing.

You do love to fish, hey GPJohn :)

You caught me.....

Bloodborne’s Last Still Hasn’t Been Seen, According to Insider

Bloodborne is among the most unique action role-playing games developed by From Software, and apparently, we haven't seen the last of it, according to a well-known insider.

Speaking on the latest episode of the Sacred Symbols podcast, insider and former IGN journalist Colin Moriarty said that we haven't seen the last of Bloodborne. No further detail has been provided, but the statement hints that something is in the works.

While not much has been said, the fact that Colin Moriarty once again suggested that something related to Bloodborne is in the works is interesting, considering nothing has been announced since the insider first talked about a remaster of the game and a sequel in development by Bluepoint Games. Without any official confirmation, however, we have to take these rumors with a grain of salt.

If Bluepoint Games makes a remaster it will be epic! I love the Demon's Souls remake.

Sony's Bungie Buyout to Be Investigated by the FTC

As is typically the case for billion dollar acquisitions, Sony’s mammoth $3.6 billion buyout of Bungie will be investigated by the Federal Trade Commission, or FTC for short. While you could be forgiven for forgetting that PlayStation had dug deep to purchase the Destiny developer, this is a reminder that the deal is still very much on – assuming it gets government approval.

If you’ve been following the news lately, you’ll know similar probes have been occurring with Microsoft’s purchase of Activision Blizzard – although with that figure many multitudes larger, it’ll have even more red tape to pass through. In both instances, it’s unlikely the acquisitions will be blocked, and this seems more like a matter of protocol than anything else.

Still, The Information reports that the investigation could set the acquisition back by at least six months – although a closing timeframe has never been officially announced by Sony anyway. With Bungie set to operate independently once the deal closes, it’s unlikely to change much really – it’ll be business as usual for the legendary Halo creator, we imagine.

Apparently, the FTC is concerned that future Bungie games could become exclusive to Sony platforms, but both PlayStation and Bungie has already promised that won’t be the case. “We want the worlds we are creating to extend to anywhere people play games,” said a spokesperson at the time. “We will continue to be self-published, creatively independent, and we will continue to drive one, unified Bungie community.”

The fact that they didn't bother trying to patch the PS4 version is almost confirmation in of itself that there are plans to remaster it. Hopefully BP gets the job!

I think ubi would sell the same to xbox if they could. Sony prob has an exclusive rights deal for a limited time.

LOL. Quick tip - if your controller develops that annoying stick-drift, here's a tip - throw it on the ground (base first) two times. Basically a gentle throw down from chest high. Worked for me! :)

Well, so far it's only first day.

Edit: this "fix" lasted for a few hours. Then the drift began again. Dropped it on the floor, had half an hour problem free. Cycle continued with shorter and shorter periods.

Ordered a new Dualsense from Takealot using their R500 voucher received yesterday. Good timing!

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Beta Coming First to PS5, PS4

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has today been confirmed for a release in late October, but before then, those who pre-order the game will get their hands on the game early with an open beta. Access is granted by committing cash early to either the Cross-Gen Bundle or the Vault Edition, and perhaps most interesting is the pre-release test will be available first on PS5 and PS4.

This is the first real piece of evidence that Microsoft's acquisition of Activision isn't affecting the support of Sony systems at least in the short term, as this reinforces the marketing deal Sony holds with the franchise. Past titles like Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War have also handed open betas to PS5 and PS4 users before anyone else. Xbox boss Phil Spencer has also expressed his desire to "keep Call of Duty on PlayStation" in the past, but with the deal not yet closed, this arrangement isn't something the Microsoft head could block in the first place.

As for what else you'll get for pre-ordering either of these two digital editions, the Cross-Gen Bundle is self-explanatory: both the PS4 and PS5 versions in one since there won't be a free PS4 to PS5 upgrade. As for the Vault Edition, you get a Battle Pass and 50 Tier Skips, the Red Team 141 Operator Pack consisting of Ghost, Soap, Price, and Farah, and the FJX Cinder Weapon Vault. On top of that, there are also tokens for 10 hours of double XP and double weapon XP as well as the Ghost Legacy Pack, which includes 12 Operator skins and 10 weapon Blueprints.
