Game had drops last week (standalone and bundles) and i've seen a few consoles physically in store (at the tech x side in checkers) earlier this week but that's just about it. Koodoo, btgames, raru etc havent had a drop since January though

I'm surprised Sony hasn't said anything yet. They've been pretty decent with addressing issues. But yes absolutely scummy behaviour, especially pushing this nonsense only after the reviews came out.

So not having been part of previous games that did this sort of thing, is this something game developers ever change? Like is it realistic to expect Sony to adjust the micro-transaction aspect any time soon? I mean I wanted the game and by all accounts the actual gameplay is really good.

I think so, Halo got a ton of criticism for similar BS and they are busy reversing/improving it afaik. Could be wrong though!
 
Does anybody use vpn on their PS5 console, which Vpn is the one that you use to change regions to play multiplayer games. I am a bit tired of the middle eastern people that you cant understand and the annoying music in the background :)

I am looking for something simple where you might just add the new countries DNS on the console without affecting the rest of the house internet settings

As far as I know there are no VPN software to run it directly on the PS5
