My Dbrand Darkplates had two tracking updates within SA (two points in the Aramex network) but today I see the latest update is that it has arrived in Singapore. What in the actual f**king f**k.
Edit: Okay, credit to Aramex. Their customer support replied pretty quickly to say that it was a scan error, and that the item is in Joburg awaiting clearance. Phew.

How long are peeps controllers lasting?
Controller that came with the PS5 seems to die around 6 hours on Ghost of T.
It's 2 months old if I remember right, seems really low.

Yeah the battery is rubbish. Just bought a second controller (the black one - looks amazing) so that I can swap between them when they die.

Sounds about right.
You can try the following to extend it (all in the PS5 menus):
- Switch off/reduce brightness of LED's
- Set MIC to auto off (if you arent using it)
- Reduce intensity of haptics

The vent on the side looks odd, but otherwise it makes that fancy Chinese looking toaster much much better.
If it looked like that out of the box I wouldn’t be hiding it behind my TV.

Either way not something I would actually pay to fix.
The dust-filtered vents on each side are the main reason I bought the Darkplates. Reduces temps 5-10 degrees by most accounts. Those spots are the exact intake and exhaust fans for the PS5, and they normally have extremely restricted airflow.

Not something that’s concerned me as of yet.
Never heard it even coming on.
And I had a jet plane PS4 so it was my biggest concern.
Well Sony isn't stupid. The PS5 is fine in its default state. Perhaps the decision was taken from an acoustic and/or dust perspective. But I am more than happy to spend a little to optimise the airflow and temperatures of my beloved PS5.
