I wonder what they'll do long term.
Maybe throw it up on PS Plus for a month and see what happens, if not enough people are interested by then I wouldn't be surprised if they just completely killed it. Doesn't make much sense burning more money to try and fix something nobody really wanted in the first place.
Feel bad for those devs who spent years working on the game, for it to come out and then have a lower peak player count on Steam than Gollum did.
What will happen is the same thing that usually does, the devs will lose their jobs while the execs that made a bunch of bad calls and likely forced certain decisions will live to green light more slop, see: Arkane, Rocksteady.
