Hi All,

Will be buying a car in the next couple of days that's still has its motorplan intact, do i need to phone or contact the manufacture to have the plan under my name or is the plan on the car ?

Thanks in advance
Sihle

i have never had to, i just make sure its definitely still under warranty, with guys jippoing odometers, you want to be 100% sure

Most service/maintenance/motorplans are linked to the car. To be safe you can give the VIN of the vehicle to the appropriate dealer and let them confirm it on the online system. That will also help to verify any outstanding factory/dealer recalls or possible mileage anomalies as stated by ijacobs3.

What car are you looking at?

In fact you should do this with every car you buy, even if it has no maintenance plan.

Bought an Avis Getz and got the 30,45 and 60 service without any questions asked.
