So you shouldn't buy a Bugatti Veyron because the roads haven't been properly optimized and the speed limit hasn't been increased? Watch me stretch a metaphor to breaking point

Sorry Zenbaas excuse my hyperbola. I am just saying that in the future the prices of quads will drop dramatically. When qauds are properly utilized you will be able to compare all the various quads against each other. Maybe Intel hits a perfect formula, or AMD makes something brilliant. You never know how the Quads could be optimized in the future. The Core2 has been proven but the Quad still needs to iron out the kinks. You can't expect Intel to release a perfect Quad? Who knows what they could fix, and squeeze another bit of power out of those four cores.
I'm not attacking the Quad or the people who bought it. I just think that getting a cheaper dual core now, and then a years time when Quad technology is being properly utilized getting a better optimized and tried tested processor.

If there is a difference between the Core2Duo and the Core2Quad in games you most probably wouldn't be able to spot it unless you watch FRAPS with a hawk's eye![]()
Don't listen to him, he wants to pervert our minds. Stay strong soldiers. Fight with iron hand of justice. Do not let him trick you with FRAPS, it is just a program, and in some places, slang for a type of coffee. I am disgusted at the propaganda that this forum seems to encourage
PS: Core 2 Duo clan meeting this Saturday, first order of business: fighting Quad propaganda in a fascist state controlled by two evil dictators Zenbaas and Beanie. We will have freedom.
