Quad or Dual?

if you look at the normal stock speeds the dual core 6850 is @ 1:39 [3.0ghz] VS quad @ 2:01 [2.4ghz]...

btw, we should be getting penryn around Feb/March 2008 - hopefully :)

Some sites' benchmarks will show the quad quicker, some will show the quad slower ;)

Hence, you can't come to a direct conclusion based on 1 site's benchmarks. I just found it funny that the first two links on Google that I found showed the quad as faster :D

Lol and if you look at stock speed E6850(3ghz) vs Q6600(2.4ghz) then the dual @ 59sec vs Quad @ 54 sec in the Anandtech review. :D

As WKJ said...different sites..different results. Although i prefer Anandtech.( And not because it says the quad is faster :D)

lol - whois going amd 3 core ? ;)

...still think mid dual and then quad perryn next yr :)
