Quadcopter/Drone Thread

I tried the Mac version but it's twitchy as hell.
Haven't tried it on a Mac, and it sounds like it is not going to be worth the effort. Another good one for DNG files is Darktable, but I seem to recall that you were not too impressed by it.

Another potential for Mac (and this is speculating) is the Hasselblad Phocus software, which is a free download.

Thanks - I'll give them both a look.

Ok - So I've started off with Phocus and while I'm not too keen on the interface what I have discovered is that if I load them in the app and then export them as DNG files I can now edit them in Aperture... it's an extra step but I'll take it. Thanks @garyc!

Haven’t quite worked up the nerve to take it out to sea yet.

Hahahaha it took me awhile but eventually I took the risk
I would have risked it to take some photos of the chokka boats outside but it's a little too windy right now. Perhaps later.

Ended up upgrading my OS to High Sierra and everything seems to work - old software and new, and it recognises the DNG files without having to resort to another app.

don't do it man, saltwater and electronics don't mix,

got mine stuck in a tree once, took hours to get it down with a giant pole for cleaning pools.
now stuck with a busted motor:( when I tried to locate it in the branches of the tree.

luckily I have the citi golf of drones, so shouldn't be too hard to fix this
