I flew my mavic air in the desert with sport mode it’s a lot faster.

What I didn’t see coming… it was 43C and halfway into the flight my phone decided it’s thermal shutdown time lol.

Yip. On the Phantom in Sportmode it's turned off. I never used that. Too scared i'll fkitup.

Same. Those things are too expensive to randomly crash into sht. I think obstacle guidance turns off for a few of the creative modes also.

If properly setup it would have come back regardless of what happened to your phone or you for that matter

It did come back I sent the call home from the remote. It was just very very far though when it did go offline

Not really. Drones are quite popular here and you never hear of anyone getting into trouble. I live close to those buildings on the top floor of my building and launch it from my rooftop. I am not an idiot with it though.

I live in the area with the red x. I'm interested in buying a DJI Mini 3 Pro, what height restrictions will be enforced on this drone in this area? Will it be the same as a Mavic for example, as this is under the 250g threshold?

Rough rules in SA. Was planning to bring my 7”and 3” FPV drones with me in December while in holiday in CT.

Literally seems like no point as the rules are overly restrictive. You can buy stolen goods on the street corner but don’t you dare fly your drone near of natural beauty. Obviously.
