Anyway, the reason they look better in DPP may be more to do with your familiarity of DDP than anything else. Do *everything* in LR for as long as the trial is valid.

I mean the JPGs when I output them from RAW -> JPG

Hmm, OK. Still, my second sentence stands

It could be the defaults that DPP applies to the RAWs vs Lightroom defaults. Each applications 'default' post processing is different.
