Rain 5G router not working on UPS

We are using the supplied Rain 5G router purchased on the R499 month to month contract. The router does not work when plugged into a UPS backup. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Don't the towers go down during loadshedding ? Atleast the one by me used to.

What UPS are you using ? I remember the 5G router used 19v with power over ethernet, quite different to the fibre stuff that's usually 12v.

Thanks. I have test even outside of load shedding by disconnect the power supply. All other equipment operates on the UPS. Even tested a Telkom Hawaii router on the UPS without problems. Interesting point you make regarding the 19v.

See if there is any specs on the original adapter and see what voltage it uses.
