Anybody know if its possible to limit certain devices connected to the router so that they only use lets say 50mbps?

Yes. Log into the router and click on my devices. You can set some limits there I believe.

When I go there I can disabled devices from getting internet access but I can't add speed limits. Guess it's not possible then :(

I am on the different indoor unit now, so interface changed a bit, but I recall there was a link or something on that page that allowed you to set up limits, maybe on the Smart Home app... sorry can't recall exactly.

Anyone have an idea how these upload speeds are improving?
Just been like this from the start for me at my place in Kyalami even when there is load shedding I seem to jump onto a tower that is rather far away. Although when I checked the tower location after the power is all good a new tower very close to me has popped up

There seems to be a disconnect between the 5G RSRP relative to speed. My signal is in the 80's (better) and I get half that download but my upload is close to yours 24.

Thanks, just what I thought as different speed tests shows me different results... example below... speed is relative great, but now and then i get a break/dip for like 5 seconds, then continues again between 50-60MBit/s...

I get around 65-70mbps upload now with my final router position. But I never saved those results for some reason. I'll run it again and upload my current result. My download speed never exceeds 630mpbs. On newshosting (usenet) I download between 60mb and 70mb per second usually.

I am super impressed - upload speed is low, but with no Fibre available it still blows away anything available in my area, and the test was done way outside of the blue patch. Loadshedding plays havoc with it, but that is hardly Rain's fault

Not looking good signal wise. You are going to have to get an external unit.

What if he calls the techies and they respond with "You shouldn't be able to even have this service since you are way out of the zone."

Pretty screwed if you ask me. It's easy to dupe the system with alternate "covered" address. People did it with TELKOM LTE deals few years ago. I'd be content with what you have which is not bad actually considering the base you came off of. Network is expanding daily so you might find picture getting better.

As for ODU not sure if they will support as you are outside their coverage currently.

This.

I'd just shutup about it and carry on merrily....

Those might be the best stats I have seen
Edit: You aren't climbing up the tower to run speed tests hey?

It's from my stoep, I'll take a pic tonight. The joke of the matter is I am not even in coverage, there is coverage 1km away from me so I guess they just didn't do the map properly :)

5G RSRQ -10.0dB
5G RSRP -69dBm up to -71dBm
5G SINR 10dB up to 22db (it varies depending on time of day)

Since the load shedding began I haven't really had my 5g on again, my load shedding is from 19:00 to 21:30 at night which is like wtf. So I don't even bother switching it on I just play games on my Nintendo switch, I only get home at 18:00 then I have to prepare food and ****.

Eskom is doing proper anal probing in my case.

I suspect they added a tower right by you, and you haven't seen it yet, and they need to update the map
Edit: Also, check your garden, they might have installed it there while you were at work
