That reminds me of a marketing glossy issued by the Wonder Fertilisers years ago.Goddammit.
I sprayed some weedkiller on the stinging nettles infesting my yard and between my pavers and I'm only looking at this thread now after seeing it getting overcast outside. I hope its at least somewhat effective in killing some of it before the poison gets washed away.
My wife and I did this route "blind" without too much research on it, just read a blog. A good few years ago this was.Starting on Pipe Track at the car park, then 500m before Kasteelspoort, we're going up Diagonal.
Towards Blind Gully, then at +/-500m you turn right and follow the contour around Porcupine Buttress. Then another climb up Porcupine ravine before another right turn at 650m takes you around Jubilee buttress. A final steep climb and you emerge at the top meeting with the path to “Valley of the Red Gods”.
We are coming down Kasteelspoort, then pipe track back to the cars

I'm doing Woody Butress Sunday morning and it is more hectic than India Venster hike, so I hope it isn't slippery scrambling up Table Mountain on the Camps Bay side of the world. I'm a little nervous now
So @Gordon_R what do the weather people say is the cause of this weather pattern?
So it's not going to rain?Weather doesn't have causes, it just does what it feels like... /s
A trough moving down the Western interior is more common in autumn, but we had nothing like that so far in 2021.
Cape Town itself is cold and windy, and not getting any benefits from the trough.
So it's not going to rain?![]()
Prins Albert looks like one big dam.The rain tomorrow is a completely separate system, a late-season cold-front.
I'm hearing reports of heavy rain in parts of the Northern Cape, and flooding in Montagu (narrow river valley).
Gordon are these rains this time of the year different from previous years, as i cant remember the weather being this weired this time of the year. Normally im lazing on the beach in the sunSome details of flooding in the Breede Valley and Montagu:
