Are we on the downward spiral to winter already, there's been a nip in the air especially at night for the last week or so?
And for the week ahead... so yes, i think cooler days and nights are here, although might still be occasional 25C+ day here and there. Even Sunday's warm weather didn't have quite the intensity to it.

My rule-of-thumb is that the weather in coastal climates starts to change significantly about 6 weeks after the equinox (21 March), so we should still have a few more weeks of moderate conditions (end of April). This is due to the large heat capacity of the oceans, causing a delay relative to the day/night solar cycle.

Similarly the coldest conditions for snow are in July and not June.

Having lived in Ceres for 16 years during the nineties and naughties, there were years when the first snow was in April and the last in October, with upto 7 snow occurrences in a single year (admittedly some were just light sleet (called kapok by the locals), or very high up on the mountains), but yes, most likely to be coldest around July / August.

The rain started quite early this morning, already soaking wet in Kenilworth at 6:30am. Looks like it's going to be a long day!? At least my car can get a free 'rinse'...

Not really raining much in stellies, raining toward Baden Powell though, just got home from taking my SO to work as she doesn't like driving in the dark when it's raining and she starts early this whole week, so hopefully it will only rain today and tomorrow.

the adiabatic situation on the Windy app is not much different from the one I posted earlier this morning:

Just keep it there. My roof tiles are being replaced this week. I'm already worried about some guy falling through the roof and landing on me. Don't need a bath in my study as well. Or a bath with a guy...

Likewise, have left mine out for a wash, need to take it in for third time to try and get the wheel alignment issue to be sorted out but in this weather probably best to wait for a dry day.

Dude, if you wanna have a bath with a guy, you go at it, but no need to tell us.

We're here for the lovely rain that has both my tanks overflowing!
