Raining non-stop in Kenilworth, 20mm already in our gauge at 11am. Probably much less further away from the mountain...
Yup, was hoping for a good few hours until 2pm this end of peninsula( past Fish Hoek) but rain had stopped by 10ish or so, but better than nothing!
Overcast but some cloud and most fog has lifted already, roads dry , hardly looks like it has rained.

A double decker bus could have snuck in there!
That may be true.

Unlike yours - which is somewhat akin to flicking a jelly bean into the carnegie Hall.
I believe Metro rescue are preparing to send in a few drones to try locate the 30 member marching band that vanished when you invited them to spend time in your mancave - although, not quite the mancave they were anticipating.

Ah but have you seen the demand for tickets to Carnegie Hall :whistling:

ditto here - ever since the Cape Town water crisis, we have had a scapegoat for no longer washing cars.
It's legal to wash a car with a hosepipe again in Cape Town, woohoo no more lugging buckets

Another weak cold front came out of nowhere, and is bringing light rain to the southern Cape Peninsula (Wed 30th).
Yup, came out of nowhere, was fairly pleasant in the morning.. midday skies suddenly got very dark and overcast and showered for 30 minutes.

Still cloudy, might shower briefly and intermittently with low probability according to forecast.

Another slightly unexpected rain shower over Kenilworth (10.30pm on Sun 3rd), as a weak upper trough passes overhead. Models showed the possible development of a cutoff-low, but mostly offshore to the south of Cape Town.

Although fair bit of rain predicted for Tuesday / Wednesday.
Certainly lower temps as well, day and night this week

Rain started last night here with a brief heavy downpour in my neck of the woods (past Fish Hoek), continued through the night pretty hard until about 8ish but it's stopped for now....

Temps definitely on the cool side, no more shorts and t shirts for me!

Still raining anywhere in CT?
