Rain and storm for Cpt

My 9m x 5m pool is about to overflow.. before the rain started, water level was about 7cm from the top of the coping and is now about 1cm..

It is still too soon to make any predictions about the timing and amount of rain on Mon 29th, both for CT and other parts (including Port Elizabeth, etc).

One of my neighbours was once quite teed off when the Uber she had booked suddenly raised the price by 8 times when it started raining. It's called demand pricing...
Yikes
Cool, please keep me posted
You have me on WhatsApp
Thanx

We also got a crazy amount of water in the pool, but it seems to be helping to correct a small imbalance in the water, so I'm happy for now. Thanks, nature!

I don't have any leaks, but I have a fkn waterfall on my balcony today. Just started pissing down heavily again in the deep south with some thunder in the distance.

Don't go chasing waterfalls
Please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to
I know that you're gonna have it your way or nothing at all
But I think you're moving too fast

The outlook for the cutoff-low developing early next week is slowly becoming clearer, as the system starts to develop, and the models start to converge. It is still too soon to make specific predictions this far in advance, because the location and amount of precipitation is still uncertain. The 5 day chart shows very high amounts of rainfall (100mm+) possible in places (mostly offshore), but small shifts could make the difference between nothing and flooding:

Regardless of the location of the precipitation, a cutoff-low has many of the same effects as a widespread cold-front, and significantly cooler conditions will move in over the southern half of the country early next week. Snow is likely over some of the higher mountain ranges. This chart shows the predicted daytime temperatures on Wed 31st:

It's not.. I went outside earlier and was expecting a chill and instead got a warm breeze..

My guess is that this is the precursor effect of the cut off low coming in..
Yup
