A neighbour just got back from Montague. Says lots of snow visible in the mountains.

Just had a look from our 6th floor roof. Still a lot of clouds around, but very heavy snow on the Hottentots Holland mountain range, above 1200m elevation. Should still be visible tomorrow, when the clouds lift.

A wee bit of snow on the HH mountains currently, somewhere in the middle there.
I wonder if that's it for winter.

We might be switching from 4 seasons a year to 2. A 6 month winter, with an abrupt change to 6 months of summer...
