Meh, was expecting more rain. Driveway is dry still.
Same here, we were told that your Cold Front would drench my wee desert town with Water, I looked like a muppet today at work after warning everyone to bunker down...

;)

Still No rain, I gonna tempt the Gods and braai after work today...

not a cloud in the sky, nice and warm, checking weather SA map, dont even see even one cloud out there,
but do see the warning 100% rain for the next week, is this how things work down here in the WC, calm before the storm kind of bull$hit?
Even the Milnerton Flee Market is closed today. But you can still contact the seller for a nice dinner plate

You know that cloud in the sky tactic made me climb a mountain. Half way up, there was a cloud long in the distance. Small but there. Then half way up, the cloud got buddies. Close to the top, the clouds were a lot and dark and scary. Thank goodness my friend had booked a hut just as a backup. Because next came a snow blizzard. And did it snow badly.

But yip snow storms comes very quickly.

In that grid level 4 and 8 warnings are rated as low probability, and should rather be treated as a caution than a prediction. Level 6 is high probability, and should be treated as a real warning. The risks seem to vary greatly by location, and type of event (wind, rain, flooding, storm surge, etc).

No, not really.. it's really windy and really windy here too, the complete opposite side of blouberg coast and inland too..

Maybe you should make your own thread for rain and storm thread for Ceres and stick to that instead..

^^^^ That pass looks perilous, doubt many people have experience in driving on snow/iced roads, and how to break properly without skidding and losing control of car completely...I wouldn't be driving through there unless it was absolutely necessary.
