Hail in Protea Valley, Bellville at around 12:20 but everything is taking a break at the moment. A good gap to go waste some pool water before the next wave of rain.

^^^^ That pass looks perilous, doubt many people have experience in driving on snow/iced roads, and how to break properly without skidding and losing control of car completely...I wouldn't be driving through there unless it was absolutely necessary.

Pfft, that's what Land Rovers are for.

Pity I'm not there, quite fancy a spin in the Rangie on the pass now to see if I can get it to step out

Looks to me like he knows exactly how to break cars. Did a fine job on that one. Was a VW also involved there.

Temps have dropped, snowing ground level in Matroosberg (ceres~1200m). Freezing lvl dropping to 1050m in the early hours.
Might snow on top of tabe mountain tonight, though rain later tomorrow will wash it away

Simon’s Town Main Road indeed. Fish Hoek to Masiphumelele/Ocean View to Scarborough to Cape Point to Kalk Bay and Tokai.
