Well developed cold fronts are still scheduled to reach CT on Mon 23rd and Wed 25th. Beyond that is still a guessing game.
The long weekend does not look as dry as I thought, and during the entire 5 day period there is likely to be at least one rainy day (not able to be more specific).

No, these fronts are for real! The exact amounts of rain on Mon 23rd will depend on location, but could reach 20-30mm in places, and as high as 75-100mm over the mountains.
This will be a fast moving cold-front, with heavy rain for a few hours. Likely to be blocked drains, localised flooding on roads, etc.

Strong wind = fallen trees. Autumn leaves = blocked drains. Heavy rain + recent fires = mudslides and rockfalls...
Its already drizzling in Kenilworth, but the real rain will only be after lunchtime.
P.S. Several (but not all) models are predicting heavy rain and cold (with possible snow) on Sun 29th. Just a heads up for anyone going camping over the long weekend, keep an eye on the long-term outlook!
