Sigh, trollers again...

Seems wetter this morning than yesterday. Took a brief gap to walk the dog, but had to take shelter after 10 minutes!?

Sun was out for a brief few minutes in the northern suburbs but its now gone very dark and starting to pour down.

I see the Dwarsberg weather station not reporting rain anymore, but suspect it can be because the temperature dropped to basically 0 so the water has frozen. Remember that happening before.

It's traffic lights opposite Shell garage ,Sea Point/Mouille Point boundary

This location to be exact ( used to live and frequent the Virgin gym close by years ago mid/late 90s)

Beach Rd, Three Anchor Bay, Cape Town, 8005

The Sea Point foam must be old footage. That only happens during a north-westerly storm. We did not have any north-westerly wind at all during this event.

Edit: Off topic, but that foam stuff can be deadly:

8 degrees in Constantia (was out earlier getting new tyres for the car -good timing).

That's a typical for sea-level during a snow event. The temperature drops by around 6C per 1000m elevation, and the freezing-level is currently around 1200m (Dwarsberg as noted above).

For the record Dwarsberg recorded 146mm up to midnight on Wed 10th! The temperature on Dwarsberg is currently 0.7C (12.30pm), though the rain gauge is probably still frozen solid.
