I've relocated but my sim has no internet. My coverage is good and my apn settings are correct.. But nothing.. Who can help me urgently.
 
This is so unacceptable.in so many ways.Look at the dates.

rain currently offers credit or debit card payments. Please ensure that 3D secure is activated on your card. You can manage this with your bank.
Capitec customers can follow this link in order to learn how to update your online shopping limit on your card.

To get back online, simply sign into my rain and select pay now.

Trying for 2 days to make payment and every time it fails.Fnb is my bank and after the otp entered the transaction fails, i cannot contiue t o activate sim or rica until this is fixed.Can you help me with this please

Lol. Their call centres and chat support are closed due to the pandemic (6 months later they still closed but hey their just a small indie company).

Second night now sitting with no Internet and no way to contact them. Just got a bot response email back once that asked for stuff I already sent. BTW did you guys know they ask to run a speed test on their site but it doesn't work cause of CORS. Yea that's how competent the company is.

Just gonna cancel all my rain stuff when I get back from holiday and just get the 1TB telkom lte deal. This is literally the worst ISP ever. Never even had remotely so much trouble with even telkom...
 

Use this website for the dimensions. Do not waste your time building the double biquad, it gives about 2dBm extra sometimes.

My specs before the biquad...
RSRP: -93
RSRQ: -8
SNR: 6.2

My specs with single biquad:
RSRP: -85
RSRQ: -12
SNR: 10.8 - 16.2

My biquad is tuned for 2600Mhz, so your router must support band select and then select Band38 only.
I have the 24/7 package and get consistent 10-12mbps download speeds. Upload max to about 5mbps.

I have made 2 of these by the way. 1 horizontal and 1 vertical. I did not see any big gains using 2. Just the 1 improved my signal a lot. My router used to report 75% signal, Now consistent at 100%.

Not all TP-Link routers support band select, so search for beta firmware. The MR200 has a beta version for band select.

Point your biquad in the general direction of your connected tower using your rain dashboard to find your tower.
My biquad is sitting on my desk using 1meter R59B coax cable.

Rain network is out in Stellenbosch area since last night.

Their website has no contact information or the ability to report network outages. Can anyone here assist?

I feel so sorry for anyone that signs up with Rain. I spent most of last night trying to finish a job that was primarily waiting for the internet to load. Today I basically haven't been able to work - my speed test results (when the page actually loads) averages 0.1 to 0.2mpbs. I'm waiting for a support email that promised a reply in 24 hours - that was almost two months ago. I now have to take out an Afrihost package, pay for a supported router (MTN lte), and still pay at the end of the month for Rain's non-existent service. Whoever thought Telkom was bad, try Rain! How can a company be this bad???!!

I have 2 sims (one is an unlimited 4G and the other a standard 5G). The 4G is working fine, the 5G was working but now refuses to work. It says registration failed.

This is highly frustrating.
